My OFC Kalin/Mirluiniel, a Sindarin elleth, with her mare, Randiriel. This is before the time-line of my fan fiction begins, and thus she has both hands. ^_^
Just a peaceful moment where she rode out of Menegroth's confined courts on a breezy day.

I love how it all came out, very light and simple. This is essentially the epitome of all I ever drew as a girl. I wanted all my horses to look this good, and all my maidens to look as natural. (Young drawings are always so stiff, don't you know.

)

HelicaseHelio and I were always sitting on the stairs, chatting about the lamina and occasionally making snide remarks about ribosomes. There wasn't much for us to do. Our job was to simply be, and let the RNA scribble down the letters on our foreheads when they came around every once in a while. Helio was a G, I was a C. It wasn't exactly fulfilling, I suppose. There wasn't much to be filled. So to pass the time, we talked.
"You ever wonder?" Helio asked.
"About what?"
