Good morning everyone (<-- there really *may* be only one of you, haha),

Just wanted to confirm that I am alive, and I *am* drawing. Just not scanning. I've been working for several weeks at a local theme/water park as the guests' photographer, and love it. It's full-time, so I'm busy, and I'm standing and outside, so I get pretty exhausted. But it's great, and I'm getting an income which is delightful. ^_^
I've been getting more and more ideas for an original fantasy novel I've been thinking up for months, and drew a couple concepts for a race called the Mirror People, or the Mirrar (as they call themselves). They're an amphibian people that are shape-shifters, changing their scales to 'mirror' another being once they are studied long enough. But that's all I'll say for now (they're pretty awesome) until I scan and upload the pictures as deviations for y'all to see. ^_^ I'm pretty excited about it, even though I know I won't start writing the actual story for a while yet. I still have to complete my Maedhros story!!!
I've borrowed a book from my Pop (grandpa, see my Deviant ID) called the Celts, by Gerhard Herm, and I've *really* been enjoying looking through it. I'm getting a *lot* of ideas for my story, just by their culture and everything. And I already am really into Celtic things and the Gauls in history, period. So this is a great book so far.
I'll head out for now, I need to get ready for a long, sunny, work-day. So sunscreen must be applied. Bleh, *it* makes me sweaty. haha
Everybody have a great week, and I'll be heading down to Arizona and California the day before July 4th (that's the 3rd, if you didn't know haha) for visiting and a summer camp. Huzzah! I miss everybody there, so it'll be really great. I'll be gone a couple weeks during peak business time, so I may or may not have my job when I return. But I'm praying! So we'll see. ^_^
